Loading MRC file issues

Postby TrimTheKing » Fri Feb 07, 2014 1:29 pm

Hi Adam

I am trialling PP right now and loving it, but have found a small issue I wanted to check on. I am trying to create a workout using the standard output from the Sufferfest spreadsheet and saving as a notepad file called test.mrc (I have modified it so it isn't a standard Sufferfest workouts as I know they are already built in…).

When I come to load that file in the workout creator it doesn't recognise the file and when I check the properties it says the file is called test.mrc.txt, even though looking at the file in explorer it does't have the .txt at the end.

Any ideas what is going wrong as I thought that an MRC file was just a text file and it was the content that was important, not the file type?

Grateful for any help you can offer.

Thanks
Mark

Save the file as "test.mrc"
using the " "
Explorer can hide known file type extensions

CerrWing is correct, thanks for helping!

The file extension needs to be .mrc for PeriPedal to open it. When you save in Notepad just use the quotes as CerrWing suggested and it should get rid of that trailing .txt.
