Manual workout?

Postby TrimTheKing » Wed Feb 12, 2014 4:58 pm

Hi There

I've had a look and can't see where this has been requested before, but if it has then apologies.

I like the function in some other apps to ride a 'manual' workout, where you just start riding with resistance set to 50% of FTP, with no pre-programmed workout, and have a slider bar or similar to allow you to either raise or lower the resistance as you ride.

This would allow me to do HR Zone training without needing to change gears, I could just raise or lower the FTP%, and you could ride as long or short as the moment took you without sticking to a time limit.

Something you might consider, or even have on the roadmap already?

Cheers

I'm assuming that you have a trainer that Peripedal control (PowerBeam, Kickr etc.) the resitance. You could make your own workout and have an hour at 50% FTP or what ever you want. Then as you're working out, you can go up to the settings oon the upper left of the screen and change the slope to lighten the load or increase it. I'm not next to me laptop right now so I'm not sure or the actual steps involved to do this, but I think you should have enough info to figure it out.

Cheers for that, yep I've got a KICKR. I have set up a 50% workout but didn't really think about changing it in settings.

Will go an have a look at that now.
